Following on the very successful renovation to the south end of the mall, the vacant Target store has been extensively renovated and re-demised to realign the mall, adding a new wing with its own entrance. The design language of this wing is consistent with the south end, featuring bright, high-quality finishes, tall ceilings and energy efficient lighting. The exterior of the building was completed with new storefronts for the lead tenants, Indigo and Winners, and interior spaces were prepared for the balance of the CRU space, including an Old Navy store. DWA’s project team (in concert with MMC Architects) also completed the full fit-out of the Winners store as part of the renovation. Site work, including a Site Plan Agreement amendment was also completed by our team, along with retail planning, leasing support and technical review of tenant designs. This work was completed concurrently with a major renovation to the mall interior, also led by DWA/MMC, completing the current planned repositioning of the site, and creating a continuous and consistent design language throughout the mall.
